A second person suspected of murder by a group of persons (paragraphs “e”, “g”, part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and illegal arms trafficking (paragraph “a” of part 3 of article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was taken into custody.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of April 17, on Cosmonauts Street in Stavropol, at least 7 people fired more than 60 shots at a Lada Vesta car. A 33-year-old man who was in the cabin died from his injuries in the hospital. After the shelling, the bandits fled in four cars.
Operatives managed to detain three residents of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic in Moscow: born in 1990, 1994 and 1995.
Two suspects are currently in custody. A measure of restraint will also be chosen for the third detainee in the near future.
Investigations and searches for other suspects are ongoing.
