Three traffic police cars burned down while in the garage of the regional police headquarters on Preobrazhenskaya Street in Kirov. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov region.
The fire broke out last Tuesday around 4 am. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
According to preliminary data, in the morning the traffic police officer decided to clean the patrol car from bitumen with gasoline, as a result, the car caught fire. Preliminary damage amounted to about 8 million rubles, checks are ongoing.
Three official cars burned down: two Skoda cars and one UAZ.
